Judy Hilyard graduated from Nursing School in 1966 with a diploma in nursing and a license as an RN. The following year, she joined the pioneering staff of a new ICU. Intensive care nursing was a brand new specialty within Medicine and Nursing. Judy stayed in that specialty for 47 years, until she retired in 2014. She held positions as a bedside RN, a nurse manager, a director of Critical Care ( previously known as ICU), a critical care educator and a clinical nurse specialist in Critical Care. Along the way, She went back to school and received both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Nursing and a Masters in Public Administration.
Toward the end of her career, Judy took 2 different programs from the Sacred Art of Living Center in Bend, OR. She wanted to learn more about working with the dying within critical care in a way that was not being done - helping to support the dying process rather than just trying to stave off death.
From those programs, she heard about the Ancient Celtic process of working with the dying, call Anam Cara. - Celtic words meaning soul friend or soul companion. During one of those sessions, Judy learned about a practice used by some Anam Caras to assist the dying by escorting the person across the veil at the moment of death. They were called Anam Aira - carrer of the soul. Judy have been practicing those traditions since 2014, working with people to help them be ready for dying, escorting those who are afraid to die across the veil at their moment of death and connecting with loved ones who have died for those still alive and wanting to know how their loved ones who have died are doing.

It’s exactly as she shared when you’ve felt that feeling, on the other side, you can never get that same feeling here. You cant possibly know how deeply loved you are. It happened to me at 7 and it still feels like it was yesterday. Total belonging. ❤️❤️❤️
It happened to me also at age seven. I was shown the book of my life and told I’d be guided through every page.
Recently I was opened up to the possibility that it was my higher self that wrote the book. It’s all so much to take in and yet so familiar.
I got that about the me’s from other lives. That totally makes sense to me.

I’ve been present for two different peoples passing. I prayed for them for their souls to pass easily. I even called one man’s wife to come take him home. I paced in her garden asking her to come on that day. Low and behold he passed away within in few hours. I’m a nurses aide.

Dear Alex, this lady, Judy Hilyard, is amazing! I am somewhat clairvoyant, and something radiated from her eyes that immediately spoke to me. This woman has seen infinity! That was really very impressive! Also, everything she said was somehow familiar to me, even though I had never heard of Anumcara, Focus 27 etc., although I have been on the spiritual path for over 50 years, I will be 71 years young this year. But that really fascinates me, she had such an unearthly radiance about her, I think she's a very old, very wise soul...

Dear Alex, I just watched the interview with Judy Hilyard and something that’s bothered me for 10 years clicked into place. I was holding my husband/soulmate’s hand when he passed. I experienced loss but mostly I felt the most profound peace and joy that I’ve ever felt. I felt it for hours but for 10 years since then I’ve felt disturbed that I’d felt like that and wondered if I’d shared the start of his journey to the other side.

All of our souls leave the body at night to astral travel / dream state. The silver cord keeps the soul attatched to the physical unless there's actual death of the body, then the silver cord disconnects.

I was taken aback when she mentioned Anam Cara and John O'Donohue because I had read that book maybe 20 years ago by chance and was very impressed. Of course, I read everything by Robert Monroe about 20 years prior to reading O'Donohue.

What an amazing experience for her to be of service his way. I’ve helped several people prepare and crossover by telephone and distance healing, but I helped my aunt prepare and crossover when I was at her bedside as she was dying. I called in archangel Ariel, who is standing behind her bed, and then I saw an avenue of angels, waiting for her as she crossed over.. I did not go any further than that. However, I did see her sole essence lift off of her body at the time.. I was very happy and honored to be of assistance. This woman’s account of going through the aperture, and what’s on the other side of that sounds very amazing.. 💜

What I like about Judy's story is that she learned how to speak with people who have passed. Most psychics I've seen were born open to hearing those who have passed. But Judy was able to learn this, and that is encouraging for those of us who need some coaching. And, in addition to talking with people on the other side, she actually escorts actively dying people to the other side. Bonus!
