- The raw unedited video of a sweet gum that was yet another example of why people shouldn't build a deck around a tree. There was not a decent tie in in the tree, but luckily there was another tree for me to tie into and just use SRT.
Wow! Mad respect for the heights! So aware of every move.👍
Thank you
Bruce, you're a legend mate! Love seeing you living the dream! 😍😂
Thanks so much!!
An indispensable asset in any heavy-duty operation - these machines are simply phenomenal.
You cut more trees outta decks than anyone on TH-cam!!😁 Great work like always, very deliberate!!
I really enjoy the ones in decks. Always presents a unique challenge.
Enjoyable.thanks big guy.
Glad you enjoyed it
You make it look easy…and I know it’s NOT! Thanks for the videos!!
My pleasure!
Coulda set redirect for your RR in the takedown tree to make it easier, not telling you, just for your viewers. Good work!
I don't usually use srt, so I forget that redirecting is a thing.
Thanks.
Static with a clove hitch my preference.
you sending them branches lol :D would have tossed them out of the deck. the stubs can really penetrate things. good job
What’s that lanyard setup you’ve got there? I love how easy it is to just take your loose end and set it over a limb. Way easier than taking two flip lines up with you!
Its a Gibbs klimair 2-in-1 15' 1/2" steelcore Flipline
Do you ever get attacked by any critters while up in the trees cutting?
I've had a few encounters with raccoons and opossums, countless interactions with squirrels, but nothing has attacked me so far
Great job as always man! how long have you been climbing for?
I think it's been 6 or 7 years at this point.
Running bowline basket hitch
Cavity was wood spongy or hard
I think you a very good at what you do but I do have one question. Did the home owner say it was okay to bomb the branches onto the deck?
Do you listen to a talk show or is it the workers down below . 😊
Rope finess
100 ft or 90
I dig the send at 17:48, will steal this trick :D
Yea definitely one of those thing I learned from TH-cam
