wow, I love the Beetles. Jon Lemon is my favorite beetle
Excellent interview. So insightful! Good job yet again, Waves, and Jon, of course.
but where is the presets he offers, why is waves hiding them?
Good to see John still out there. I first met him in 1995 mixing Bryan Ferry (Turbosound). Sounded awesome.
you gay dude?
only your face is self explanatory, I love your tips.God bless you
Such a sweet guy. Much respect
that was a fantastic and very interesting interview :D Definitely wants me to extend my waves library :D
Why is it necessary to hear a flat frequency response?
A. To avoid tape distortion. B. To make the signal louder.
C. To hear the true sound. D. To get a good headphone mix.
'C' I guess
E. All of the above.
If it’s not E it’s F, transparent translation to other systems (kind of D but more)
I have a question I'm hoping you can help me with. I play in a small blues band and also own the PA. Keep in mind please that i'm working on a small budget. I have been running a system using just one Subwoofer. I'm about to add a second subwoofer on a deal I found. The sub in this deal is built the same as my current sub. Front loaded 15" ..Ported the same too but a little more powerful. Will it be a bad thing that they are not the same brand?
No really, you can eq and set the right gain level on then and they’ll sound close enough to each other
A little off topic. I am a young sound engineer and I see a lot of youtube videos to explore new things. This interview bdw sounded so good to me that I am really interested to know how you recorded this interview ?which mic and pres?I use a lot of Ntg 3 and Ntg 8 but this sounding like a marriage between two.I can not see any lav so I am assuming it was recorded with shotgun?Or is it his voice ?
I love this video but I can't help notice how the waves logo has been photoshopped onto that screen lol
facts! lol
Can you make a plug-in to automatically remove resonances in vocals?
Neutron Sculptor by iZotope does a good job !
Can anyone tell me what I do with the XPS documents that JL has provided? I use Studio One 3.
Mister Lemon! I trust you that why i'm buying now shure srh 940!
Does anyone know the name of the track at the very beginning of this video?
sir can you please teach to do this.i want to learn this
I HEARD JOHN LENNON FIRST LMAO

His voice sounds a bit like Cleveland in Family Guy don't you think ? No disrespect to Jon Lemon .
Lol~ his parents must've ran out of names. Jon (John) lemon (Lennon)
Since when have you been able to use plugins on Tracks live? whats the dude smoking?
You can easily use Waves plugins for live sound / FOH recording. Many are doing this. For a good while now.
Yes... but NOT in Tracks live, Afaik it only captures audio and plays it back so all the plugins need to be either on the board or running of a separate computer
Plugins in real time, sell your hardware rack gear now, while it is still worth something. You just need a digital console and plugins now.
0:13 he has his headphones on backwards
Lana Del Rey and Sia woooah
