GREAT bike! Well done for fulfilling your dream! My dad had ordered a Shadow back in '54. At the time, it cost 50% _more_ than a brand new VW Beetle (at least here in Denmark). He cancelled the order fearing he'd be committed to an asylum for spending that kind of money on a motorcycle... He'd sailed in the U.S. merchant navy for 3 years.. That decision to cancel the purchase was of his biggest regrets right up until the day he passed away nearly 50 years later.
Beautiful machine! Thanks for putting this video together. I agree with Dan that if you have a Vincent, you don't need any other bikes, except I have a 1972 Norton Commando with the Combat motor and have had it for 45 years now. I have had other noteworthy bikes but am down to one now, and although it is a Norton and not a Vincent, I know how you feel Dan. Ride on!
C Series, B series comes with Bramptom fork. last b series ,1949, last month of 1949 comes with Girdraulic (as u can see here). is a bike for old man with cash or mechanics.i m has being lucky to get one when i was 17 years old, and now i got several ones. best ones ,the first B Series.
Hi, lovely looking Series B. I have a '52 C model which I have ridden around and over the years got it very well sorted over the years, but I noticed that you have the twin leading show front brake conversion... I wonder if you ever rode yours with the standard SLS front brakes and if so did you notice much improvement?
I bought a Rapide last month, the owner had it from 1959, 62 year ownership, I will treasure and ride it as long as I am able.

Thanks for watching John!
Was this the bike on display at the York Motorcycle festival last week? I was mesmerized by the beauty of this machine.

I appreciate the kind words Mike!
The bike is looking great. Nice coilover in the back is it an AVO or a Thornton.
Not sure - I'll have to check with Dan!
It's a Thornton.
Awesome. Loving these clips. I want one.
Thank you so much Andrew!
