I've been destroying them in the river on it in low gin clear water mid day. The megabass dark sleeper is a great looking bait but its way to heavy in low flow.
bro try the pop-x as well, not sure what the forage is on your lake but between the shad spawn and bluegill spawn use bahama milk pearl and gg wild gill. definitely pick up some extra bites. work that thing harder too, you will be amazed at the walking action and above average water displacement compared to other conventional poppers.
That lake main forage is probably crappies but I'm at the rivers when I can be. Water is just too low. I'll grab one next time I order some stuff. Megabass makes some beautiful baits, I'm glad I don't live near the hookup tackle.
