The question is about what will change in a reaction if amount of reactant is changed....confusion is between answers collision frequency and heat of reaction.... Sir if we burn 1kg of coal and 2kg of coal... Definitely in 2kg of coal more heat will be liberated... But there are chances that heat per unit time (efficiency) remains same then collision frequency will remain same...... Also there are many reactions where there are different quotients of different components where per mole enthalpy can't be defined as with respect to what component we will define per mole enthalpy...... Heat of reaction is a generalised word and not per mole thing...... It was not mentioned that it was heat of formation or heat of combustion or heat of hydrogenation etc which are specific and defined per mole Hear being an extensive property will definitely change by changing amount of substance... Yes if you want then u can directly apply for state counselling bt also try AIQ as this year more no. Of colleges are participating in AIQ, and u will also have an experience for counselling after that
