Great haircut. I have a question: is there an alternative to clipper/scissor over comb? Can you just use a higher guard up to the part?

You can use a higher guard, but that usually ads time to the cut. If I were you I would practice the clipper over comb method and get good at that. In the long run that’s going to save you so much time
