Great interview. I had the pleasure of meeting Alison this week for the Lichfield Literature Festival and she astounded me with her amazing knowledge and confidence on stage.
I’m a big fan of Ms. Weir.... her books were recommended to me by Ms Ronaldson who was my docent for my tour of Hampton Court. I read two of them on the flight home. So excited to see her here!
Many interesting questions that I was unable to understand the answers because of sound problems. Too bad. I would have loved to hear what she had to say
@@royalhistorygeeks6034 thank you for your help! However, too many of the answers seemed garbled to pick out specific parts. It seemed like she was mumbling or not speaking toward the mic.? However, since she probably does this quite often, I tend to doubt it. If there was no technical difficulty maybe I am the only one who had trouble and should just try to listen again. Thank you for your concern! I enjoy your topics.
Royal History Geeks can you please do a video on Perkin Warbeck sometime in future because I would like to know your opinion on whether or not you think he was the real Richard duke of York or was really an imposter?

She is a wonderful writer. It was a privilege to speak to her
I love Alison so much. My first history book I ever bought was the Six Wives of Henry the VIII and over a decade it became a well worn and read book.
Wonderful interview with my Quuen of history. So grateful for her books truly wonderful
One of my fav authors

@@robinthomson4431 Just a thought - have you tried turning subtitles on?
Great interview but yes, continual buzzing in background very distracting Reat Rest
I’m reading the Catherine Howard book on Audible!!! It’s very good. I really loved her Jane Grey. It was very good.
Yes - all her stuff is really good
My Lancastrian self seeing Alison in a T-shirt with a White Rose on it 🥲

Sonia C good idea. Nathen Amine has a new book coming out on him later in the year. So might hold off until then.
