...just gorgeous! And I loved the quaint little grottos and shrines to The Virgin Mary... how VERY Italian. These shrines used to be scattered all over Europe, and yes, even in England until Henry VIII stole or tore down all the monasteries. She is such an inviting and motherly entry to the Throne-Almighty and is easier to imagine approaching the divine through her warm motherly presence... at least that is what my Irish grandmother related to me & it stuck. Thank you for this less-traveled part of Lake Como and for the awesome views! It's always nice when you throw in a bit of history and explain the meaning of words too!!
