I'm pretty sure those two 'Amber glass bottles' with the doll house stuff was vanilla. If you keep vanilla beans in v0dka you have vanilla for baking and stuff. They looked a lot like the ones my mom makes lol

Guys, I do know what Dairy Queen is (I grew up in small-town Georgia, so that was the place to be.) 😃 I just didn't know they made pints of ice cream or any object that you would keep in your house. I associate it with take-out food.

My grandparents had that exact same sewing machine (which is now at my sister’s house). Amazing to see a mini dollhouse version and the metal tapping sounds from it were great.

Dairy Queen is a frozen desserts shop chain ☺️ They’re still around. There was one by my grandma’s, just a small walk up stall in the corner of the parking lot in a pretty deserted strip mall, and my cousins and I would get Blizzards and soft serve cones all the time. They’re still in the same shopping center, but now it’s a full store actually attached to the rest of the newly remodeled strip mall.

What happened with the plastic reusable soda crates that you could return to the store again with empty glass bottles and get some discount on new ones.. At least that was how it was in Sweden when I was a kid.
