You really need to master the coffee maker in the apartment because that brand of beans you chose usually makes great coffee 😎 When it tastes bad it’s usually because you put in too little coffee compared to water. Put in at least one generous tablespoon coffee for every cup of water plus one extra tablespoon for the pot. You see the amounts of cups on the side of the water tank. Good luck! ☕️
I am a silent watcher and I usually dont comment on videos, but now I just have to say that your channel is absolutely amazing and very good vlog where you take your time to discover Sweden. Lovely / ❤❤
We have those AI scanners in petrol stations too now. You just put the things on there and cameras can see what it is without scanning the barcode. Did you pour the broth away? That's the good part of noodle soup (or ramen) and where the flavour is.. without it it's just noodles.
Stop stop! You don't spray a little olive oil in the frying pan and then add the onion and minced meat directly on it. You pour a splash of olive oil AND a dollop of butter (the one for frying) because it adds flavor, then you brown the red onion until it becomes soft. Then you pour it into a bowl, to fry the meat separately with olive oil and butter. When the minced meat has been browned, the red onion is first poured back in. Then the pasta should only cook 2 minutes shorter than it says, because the pasta should then be poured over to the minced meat and done there. To make this creamier, spread out the minced meat a little with the pasta water.
@@JessicaJayneTurner You got some tips from me. When it comes to cooking from scratch, it is an advantage to have an interest in food. I wrote that not spraying oil in the pan means that it will not be good. The oil is used because it can handle higher temperatures and if you don't want the oil to taste, you choose rapeseed oil. You pour approximately 1-2 tablespoons of rapeseed oil into the frying pan, then add butter (there is gold-colored foil paper around the butter and that it says butter and in Stockholm choose arlas and it is 80% fat. The butter gives flavor to what you are frying When you have put in a dollop of butter about 2 tablespoons large in the frying pan where the rapeseed oil is. This is how you fry until the butter has melted, it no longer sizzles but the butter quietens and takes on a golden brown color. This tells you that the frying pan is hot enough to put in the frying pan what you should fry. When you fry something, it should be at a medium temperature, because otherwise it will be burnt on the surface and cold and raw in the middle. If you want to learn to cook and learn Swedish at the same time. There are food magazines to buy, these are called Mat The magazine and the other one are called Allt om Mat.If you want to learn how to bake food bread, cakes, cookies and pastries, there is the Hembakat magazine. Remember that homemade food from scratch always tastes best and you know what the food contains. Because these semi-finished products that you only heat and these cans of ready-made mixture that you poured into the minced meat are not useful, as these contain additives to make them last longer. Common with these is that semi-finished products contain a lot of sugar, which makes them taste better.
@@JessicaJayneTurner You didn't really like the coffee we have in Sweden, but Swedish coffee is very high quality. If you are going to buy coffee to cook at home, all kinds of coffee packages have a table where it says whether it is light roasted or medium roasted or dark roasted. There, looking at a table, you can see how high the bitterness, acidity, and flavor are. If you buy pre-ground coffee, the coffee must be stored in the original packaging at all times. Then close the package and either put it in a special coffee can or put the packet in another bag and close the bag. Keep in mind that after 3 days, the ground coffee begins to lose its smell and taste, and this is because air enters the package and destroys the taste. That's why I only use whole beans that I grind myself, then it smells and tastes the best and tastiest.
Just discovered your channel and I would love to visit Stockholm. Is their a lot of cheap accommodation there? How did you find the Swedish people? 😁@@JessicaJayneTurner

That’s soo cool, I had no idea that was a thing! Nope I don’t think I put enough water in them or cooked it correctly 😂 they still tasted good though!
@@JessicaJayneTurner The noodles are just the base. Try cracking an egg in there at about 1 minute left of the cooking time.
Great video
But this is filmed before we got snow & cold..We have about 1 ft of snow since a few Weeks.
This is probably recorded in late November
