The hole in the middle when it fills up, it drops all the coins that has collected in there. It’s a bonus drop. I’ve seen a few people win it in the past. I know JJ general arcade was one that won it and then maybe arcade matt, but I can’t remember for sure who the other person was.
Dang guys. You guys are very impressive with the amount of content you put out. I can only assume that you also work full-time (if you’re anything like other Americans right now, probably more than full-time) and I’m just in awe at your productivity. Good on you! I’ve tried recording my art and editing videos to put online in the past and it’s so much time and work. I know there’s a lot of people that do not realize how much work goes into making content, but it is not lost on me. 😊
I love you guys so much. I love your personalities and the content you make. Obviously! Lol I watch every video you put out. So I want to try to give you a little bit of perspective from the viewer’s side. I’m sure it feels awkward for you to look at the lens of the camera and not at yourself in the screen but if you do that, it’s going to look to us like you’re actually talking to us. It makes it more personable and just makes for a generally better video. I have started following about 20+ channels from when they pretty much started, having between 10 to 100 subscribers when I found them, and have watched how they’ve grow within the last year and a half or so. Your videos are great and you’re very consistent at uploading. You really should be growing much faster than you are. I’m not claiming to know the ins and outs of why channels grow or not grow, and I’m not at all saying that looking to the side on all your videos when you speak to us is one of those reasons for the lack of expected growth. But this is something very simple you could do to quickly increase the quality of your videos that requires very little effort and no financial investment. 😊 another thing that does require quite a bit more time and effort, but I truly believe has a huge impact on channel growth is responding to and interacting with your viewers in the comments. You may be doing this. I’m not sure so forgive me if you do. I just recently turned on notifications for mentions, comments and replies, so you may have been replying to my comments at some point that I just didn’t see. I know this is something that is consistent among literally all the channels I’ve seen grow either quickly or at least consistently on TH-cam recently. They all are very active with their followers in the comment section.
Thanks Melinda, I love your feedback and your continued support ❤ I think we shot ourselves in the foot a little bit because SO many of our subscribers have come from our shorts content vs our longer form videos (like 95% vs 5%). When I talked to Arcade Matt when we were at Cedar Point in September, he mentioned that was one big reason he separated his content (shorts and long form), because if your subscribers aren't watching videos, it doesn't get pushed out to as many people, and shorts subscribers don't watch long form videos typically, so it really hurts your channel. I'm not expert AT ALL, but it makes sense. I'm not entirely sure what the best solution to this problem is, honestly, given we created it ourselves. I struggle because the best revenue generating stream is longer form videos if we can get the views, and that's what I/we enjoy doing the most. Our best way to grow the channel subscriber count is shorts, but it is severely affecting the long form videos and the revenue is not great, even with 30k views. I've thought of creating a new channel specific for the long form videos to see if that helps at all, but I don't want to try and monetize a new channel either (it's a pain!). I feel very stuck on what to do and a little discouraged/confused on how to get the best out of the channel. I really feel like we're not the BEST arcade/coin pusher channel on the planet, but we're not bad either! Just gotta figure it out at some point, I suppose. In rwgards to feedback: definitely keep in coming! There are lots of other things to work on too! 1) i think we could be a little more interactive or excitable in the video itself (I have to cut out lots of "dead air" often). 2) I am trying HARD to figure out a better way for the background noise to be reduced in our videos without distorting the vocal audio (I have tried so many different video suggestions on here and editing platforms, and still no luck) 3) definitely focusing on looking at the camera (this video is from July last year so I promise we are getting better!!).
