After 15 years… I only returned to the Sonic game franchise because I saw Shadow coming back. I know I’m not the only one.

You don't actually have the Dark Mission available for selection yet so he had to edit a fake one in to make the joke work. When you unlock the Dark Mission, if you've ignored every other GUN Soldier until that point, you'll have 1/35. That soldier is just impossible to save without the Heal Bazooka unlocked.

I knew about Sonic X but didn't know about any of the games. Where else does he say it?
@@AntonioRedgravein the Japanese version of Sonic Adventure he says a few swears. He says "SHIT!" when on top of the egg carrier but some people think it's him saying shoot. But when he falls into the jungle area next to Mystic ruins he gets his head stuck in a cutscene and says "damn it". Those are the only times in the games I can think of off the top of my head that aren't from Shadow the Hedgehog. Chaomix did a whole video on all the times that Sonic has sworn.
