GM had a rotary compressor that always outperformed the old piston compressor that Ford motor company used. I was jealous. I'm glad and happy for you that you got your planting done. Hope you had a good day. I hope you were able to stay awake. Thank you for the video Tim. I. Enjoyed being here. 🙂🙏🙂🌱🌱
I was able to get a short nap before going to work. It was rough, but God gave me the strength. I have been focused on sidedressing corn, spraying everything, and 1st cut hay. Thani will look into the ac. I do want to switch to a rotary compressor. I hope your family is getting better and you with your health. I am still praying for you guys.
Good to see you got finished. Spring weather this year was a challenge, We were trying to get wheat straw baled yesterday before the rain today. Finally got it all in the shed around 10:30 last night. RE your comments on autosteer, We just put it on our sprayer tractor this last winter, Really makes a big difference.
Sorry to hear about your AC.. That's unfortunate. Hopefully it isn't too expensive to fix. No AC in a cab tractor is rough. Glad you got it all planted!
@@TAHDAHFarm I’m pretty sure the guy I had redo the AC in my 1486 used a kit from somewhere. Compressor, brackets, fittings, etc. Of course bear in mind that was 18 years ago.
There may not have been much left to do, but it was enough as hot as it was. WOW, did it get hot. We got 1-½ of hard down poor tath night. So, the beans have struggled to break through the ground. I had to end up replanting the flooded out spots. Things are starting to come around.
Tim, glad the beans are in and hope this weather doesn’t impact them too badly. By the way, I have been looking for a big IH like yours for years, but all where I’m from were worked hard - real hard. Given my age, I’m going to stop looking; though when I see yours pulling, it makes me want one anew lol
Sorry for making you want one again. I could tell you that they are no fun to drive, but you know better. I do like it. However, I was helping my neighbor with wheat and spent the afternoon in a John Deere 4450. Man, did that drive and shift so much better, but that stupid air cleaner and door trim was in the way. What a difference there is between the early 80s and late 80s. The change the IH and Cass did with the merger made for some growing pains, but in the end, I think things got better. Man, did the government make a mess out of that like they are today. My dad was I banking and was overseer on the loan approval for many of the farm loans. He kept saying that the farmer was over extended, and eventually, he was fired for it. The loans were approved. Many farmers lost their ground and homes in our area, and the banks couldn't find buyers for them. Th bank ended up bankrupt and had to sell to another bank. My grampa refused the long and kept using the little old equipment. We kept our ground for many years. My dad and grandpa were smart to avoid the government money that ended up backfiring on so many people.
Truck stop with a no tell motel next to it. That's great, Get a meal Make a friend And go have a little fun And then get back to the other Fields Yeah no AC In a glass cab is not fun. I have done several of the AP Air kits on the 86 series and they're pretty nice
What is an AP air kit, and does it have everything I will need. I haven't looked at the ac yet but need to here next month. If the kit works, you just saved me a lot of time. Thanks. The moter the by the month. Pipe filters and boiler makers that come into the area rent a room. So, not what you were thinking, lol.
@TAHDAHFarm look around their website they got a ton of stuff a guy can need like your blower motors your AC or fan switches. I can get a kit ordered if you need a kit they might want you to go through a dealer? Off the top of my head I thought it was like a grand plus some shipping and handling for the complete kit?
@TAHDAHFarm it has a different mounting plate. If you change just the compressor I would change the line that goes from the compressor to forward. The factory hose just isn't a good fit.
I replaced everything but the compressor, condenser, and evaporate several years ago. The new hose from the compressor to he condenser didn't fit the best, but I made it work. So, hopefully, it will work better. I just need to look at what I have and give them a call.
God gave me a great night and helped me to stay awake. I even maid it to church the next morning. Nap that Sunday afternoon so I could work that Sunday night. Boy, was I tired. Some of these Beans were drowned out and had to be repainted. I always try to let God drive things, but that doesn't mean that I'm not disappointed. He always has a better plan. Just have to wait on His timing. It's much easier said than done.

I do like it, but I using Free-form a lot. I think AB line works much better, but with some of my fields, AB doesn't work.
Excellent video! I retrofitted my MF 1105 with a Sandan compressor kit.
Thanks, I'm planning on doing some like that.

It was a rough afternoon, but all went well. I still need to fix the ac. I'm looking at switching things over to a scroll style.
Put in a sanden. Money well spent.
Glad you're done planting. Might be time to upgrade to a rotary AC compressor.
I'm looking but not sure what I will need. O-ring or flang connectors? What belt, and how does it line up. You know, all the things I don't know, lol.

Good that you got done. At least you didn't have a lot more left when the air quit

I found the web site. Just wondering if the composure will fit between the belt alignment and the tubes for the fuel injector pump lines?

Prayer said Tim Sad to lose property, but maybe God has something much better in store for ya right around the corner instead.
