I have watched the majority of your qb videos and have learned a lot about the mechanics involved in throwing a football. I believe the way you explain why the techniques are important to throwing an accurate pass brings meaning to the learning.
Great video. Thank you. Interesting. I was taught not to over stride when delivering the ball as it locks the hips.....in 90's when I started throwing. What's old is new again 🏈
Excellent stuff coach, I wish you could help me out with my son. He's starting JV as a freshman doing well but the coaches just don't do anything for the QBs. Pretty frustrating
I can imagine- I am sorry to hear but I hope this channel can continue to give him some value! Feel free to reach out to me or leave a comment anytime you have any questions, I read all of them
What I do is Seperate and retract my scapula gets cleats in the ground and torque my hips and keep my shoulders level and follow through that's what works for me
hey coach, ive had struggles with elbow tightness and a bit of constant soreness of my shoulder even when not throwing, could it be because im throwing aggressively with my arm even though my arm is very unstable physically? or could it be something else? just need some help on this to stop the constant, stinging pain im getting now
Appreciate that a lot man! Really glad the content has been able to benefit you- and yes definitely in 2024 this year we will be coming to Seattle. I’ll attach the link below! www.firstdowntraining.com/service-page/seattle-washington-qb-wr-camp

I still don’t like the over stride. You want to stride just not a long pushing stride. I appreciate you watching sir!
Solid, well put together, sharing! 👀 For the next one, as well your future (hopefully) return to ma !
Appreciate you sir, thank you very much for the support!

No doubt, if that works that’s awesome. Glad you can tell that not everything works the same for everyone

Should qbs be doing squats for a workout. And for a longer throw should we be 20 to 80 on the front leg vs the back
Would say yes on the weight distribution just make sure you arch your shoulders and squats are one of the most beneficial exercises for QBs
U should do a vid with how qb can have better timing
Will do! Appreciate the feedback
So don't lift the arm at a 90 right away but I don't have to turn it at a direct opposite L but I need some kind of turn on the ball right?
Yessir exactly
hey coach do u know how to break a ball once u first get it
Wilson wax kit is something I recommend everyone to get and the brush!
Your videos are super helpful to be honest my throws have gotten so much better you have any future plans of going to Oregon?
