Imagine being a soldier facing the nightmarish legions of the chaos dwarves, and the first thing you see is Grampa wearing a hat half as tall as him and charging at you full throttle on his prosthetic legs from hell so he can bonk you with his hammer. I'd be intimidated

Very true, Mr president 😂 Love how at the beginning of my campaign I had almost nothing and now I own half the world. Bout to have to start breaking treaties just to have someone left to fight. You can really start to snowball out of control after you confederate the other factions. That said, even from the start you can make steady gains in all fields as long as you don't get bullied too hard early on. The only problem I've ran into is 10 minute turns of building and upgrading cities (not counting battles). I tried setting some provinces to auto construct but it immediately caused a ctd 🙃
I really love the design of the K'daai. Seeing a fiery entity clad in wrought metal will never not be cool. I'm definitely gonna add a lot of them to my army when I play!

I love the infernal guard's lore. It's basically a re-enactment of the original pact with hashut; abandoning their former selves to wipe away their broken oaths to the ancestor gods.
I am so very hyped for this update! Not because the Chaos Dwarfs are particularly interesting to me, but because it seems that update 3.0 has FINALLY fixed gunpowder units. Yes, I will deffo play a lot of chaos dwarfs in the coming days! But. . . I am exceedingly excited about my skaven weapon teams having 3 more braincells again and won't just give up on life if the map has the slightest form of elevation.
I dont know if you take suggestions for these, but Im hoping for a Skrag the Slaughterer and Grimgor Ironhide noobs guides soon, I couldve sworn you made a Grimgor one though

Highly recommend finding two mates to do a co-op campaign with this dlc, it's almost designed for it. Having only eachother as reliable allies while at the same time conspiring with eachother and fucking eachother on the tower of zhar is so much fun. Our empires are all connected around zhar nagrond and when one of us confederates it we plan to declare war with eachother and fight until only one stands >:)
Why not do Thorgirm Grudge Bearer? Emperor Karl Franz? Manfred Von Karstien? Or Grimgor Ironhide? With your talent I can imagine these guys would be easy.
@Kaio Hyzel K’daai are cool but I feel Ironhand’s faction effects should be buffing them and the symbols of his God whereas Drazhoath should focus on reducing infernal guard and ironsworn as well as artillery units

Meanwhile, Zhatan the Black buffs artillery and war machines because he's the slave master of Zharr-Naggrund, where the bulk of the dawi-zharr industry lies. Finally, Drazhoath is both a sorcerer-prophet and one of the greatest daemonsmiths in the chaos dwarfs empire, and seeing as only daemonsmiths are capable of building k'daai constructs, he buffs them. All these buffs make sense. I do agree that Drazhoath should also buff infernal guard and infernal ironsworn, since they're the guardians of the Black Fortress and the sorcerer-prophets of the legion of Azgorh respectively. However, seeing as the K'daai are such unique looking units with a lot of cool factor, as opposed to still cool but kinda generic looking dwarfs in black armour, I get why they decided to make Drazhoath focus on K'daai. Ideally he would have buffed all three, but CA doesn't like having fun I guess.

@@scionoftheemperor1240 Yes, but they're beasts. The regular Dawi don't all speak exclusively Khazalid and the Skaven don't speak exclusively Queakish or whatever their language was called again. The Dawi-Zharr should have regular voice-acting as well.

Maybe throw in a “Back to the Future” like ending with a “To be Continued”, or follow the approach of movies like “Flash Gordon” and “He-Man” and the sequel teasers that lead to nothing.
