    for some reason this really boosted my confidence and made me realize that weight doesn’t matter nor define you. my new goal is not to lose weight, but rather become healthy and stronger. thanks :)))

      I'm so glad!! That was really my whole intention with this video. Focus on your overall health more than the number on the scale :)

      How it going?

    I really appreciate you pointing out that having extra fat on your body is a strength! I am one of those who have fought my normal weight range to try and be smaller and it really messed up my health and my relationship with food. I am now recovering from restrictive eating and overtraining and let me tell you that it’s absolute hell and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone so please respect your body’s limits and when it tells you to eat, EAT. I am now trying to figure out where I went wrong and this helped me a lot.

    So so so well articulated! This really resonates with me because I feel like I am in the “average” group and always striving to be in the “weak” group. Meaning wanting to be unrealistically too thin and my body is like “no girl, not happening”. I can go through extreme lengths to get there and get there however I can’t maintain that weight for too long because it’s exhausting (counting macros and twice a day cardio sessions)

    This video should be the first thing everyone should see before starting a "Diet".
    It is very important to know what your body can and cannot do!
    Thank you very much for this very important video.

    It's true that natural body type determines a lot. My husband's sister and I are the same height but she is Asian and I am blonde/northern European so our body types are very different and thus weight is different at it's healthiest point as well. If we tried to both weigh the same because we're the same height, one of us would end up unhappy.

    Perfect timing. Jen was just asking me about this last PM. I had no white board and was as eloquent as "don't worry you're not obese." LOL! This AM- bam! "Here- listen to Emmie!"

    Thanks for the Amazing Insight on BMI, and the analogy story super cute. I have been evolving into a Raw Vegan Lifestyle for the past 2 years with a substantial amounts coming from fruits 80%. Do you personally offer coaching as a nutritionist?

    • @HealthyEmmie
      @HealthyEmmie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks James! I do offer coaching and you can apply through HealthyEmmie.org but I don't personally recommend a high-raw lifestyle so my coaching is not in that arena! 😊
