To me this type of stuff is more impressive than a double backflip or cash roll this is a whole nother level of bike control and power. That was awesome!
Finally a video that shows what ebikes are really good for: uphill tech climbing.

True, but if you don't want to ride trails or DH at all, you might as well get an electric trials bike, they're more fun imho and you can climb stuff not possible with pedal assist

Re-watched this a few times and gotta say that the camera work was super smooth and precise. Loved how the camera guy was having fun showing off, while still getting a unique angle. Gained more respect for this vid. It's so intense compared to other stuff like Toni Bou's River Riding vid.
GT gives Akrigg an e-bike. Nek minute, riding up a river. 😂

The way he times his peddle strokes is amazing. He's really adapted his riding to the ebike, and the results are incredible.

dTEA not sure if it would need it ,I watched a thing on embn with Chris talking about doing this edit and he actually said he rode it all not even on full boost because it was just making the back wheel spin up too much ,so he did all the climbing on trail and Eco mode bro,watch the thing on embn it was very interesting telling how it was done etc,he did it all in full takes no edited parts where he climbed bits then edited it together like some people do!!!👍🏻👍🏻🔥🔥🤘🏻
If there's one person who doesn't need an e-bike it's Chris. Fantastic use of the drone, love the catch-and-release shots!

This is probably the best example of e-bike capabilities. Very impressive stuff.
This is the first video where an e-bike is pushed to its limit. Making sense what they could be used for. Being an older GT bike rider....I could see myself riding one of these builds.

This has to be the best demonstration I've seen so far about the potential of an emtb. And I would love to think it could be the start of a new direction for the sport of trials riding too :)
As a kid he rode uphill, both directions for school, through 4 feet of snow. Plus he had a 60 mph headwind both ways. Lol. Straight beast. Awesome video.

Thanks for the entertainment Mr Akrigg. I'm most impressed by how you manage to "hover" such a heavy bike in low speeds. Guessing years of trail/trialriding and massive strength goes a long way... Needed that inspiration (again) because after I switched to only emtb I've been more and more charging it, and not so much playing it as before. That has to stop!

All those tricks on a a 23 kg (51 lbs) ebike???? my my...you never fail to impress Chris! What I truly admire the most about Chris is his "raw power"...he isn't like most (not all) trials/tricks cyclist who do those "small hop-hops" to maintain balance before a trick. He's just so flawless. He's a beast! :)
Once he gets into the creek, he looks like a salmon going upstream to spawn. Just with more determination.

Amazing skills and control on bike on motor assistance and lots of trials technique, that's really fresh air compared to those boring only descent videos released by other brands, this shows really what can be done with real skills on a e-mountain bike, best video I ever seen from long long time.

Such a legend Chris. Your raw determination and visualization of what is possible on a bike is mind-blowing. Every video we expect it to be out of this world and yet still we always walk away being more impressed than we expected. The bar is just that high. Few humans really make a sport their own like you have. Huge props! :)
