We're travelling from Tasmania to do some cruises around the British isles and Scandinavia. Between the two cruises were staying for a week at the Crown hotel. Really looking forward to it.
Hi - that's so nice to hear and hope you enjoy your visit to our little English island. If you have time, there is a New Forest bus tour that you can get from Lyndhurst that will take you round the beautiful scenery of the New Forest National Park. Look out for the wild ponies that have right of way and often stop in the middle of the roads causing chaos! In particular in Beaulieu - Also wild cattle, pigs, donkeys roam free all over the park. I'm sure the Crown will give you details if you are interested - it's an ancient hotel, so ask them for some stories maybe the odd ghost story or two 😀

Hi - yes, it's really terrible and such a shame in such a lovely village. They wanted a bypass for years, but never got it.
