I think the couple in season 1 fits their role well because they have a cute-cold-warm love story where zhi is very jolly that match xue that is a cold type while the in the season 2, the couple fits their role so well too since zhi is kind of crazy and cute while xue is vild but cute. Both the actresses and actors in those season matched so well, choosing the actors may depend on the plot of the story.
