For some people it wouldn't come off as funny and for others they might even find it annoying and irresponsible. Often when critiquing someone or something people forget to include the context of the circumstances of the situation. The context does matter.
Jon stewart also cuts himself during the show. No wonder why these guys are friends.

And that is the story of how she finally got a kitchen that had pots in it.

"Well, first they're going to give me a knife to play with. Then I'm going to toss it in the air. Then I'm going to try to catch it. Then I'm going to cut myself in the effort.
