Amazing 🤩
This is great!
Loved everything about this one: the bay window setting, the black and white presentation, and especially this sly little rocking tune ~ perfectly played. I had a hard time not getting up to dance to it, which I will do later.
I never thought anyone could sing this as pretty as doc Watson ,but marks fiddle captures the emotion
This is so cool, first time I've heard this blues played this way
You two are fantastic! Great sound and lovely look to the video. Thank you.
Love it !! Such fun !!
Maggie and I are going to begin putting some new duos down on tape tonight in Miami for Book V. Exciting! And my solo pieces - chipping away. Got some good stuff to record!

If you ever get to the W.C. Handy homeplace & museum in Florence, Alabama...they USED to sell a CD of W.C. Handy talking about how he wrote this.

On the way to the airport today to head out to California - performing our American Classics (such as St. Louis Blues) tomorrow night in Berkeley, CA at the Freight & Salvage! Come see an evening of these exciting new violin duos I have arranged in the American music styles. Music on the upcoming Book V of the O'Connor Method series as well. I will bring the white fiddle for Eck Robertson's iconic version of Sallie Gooden. I will also put Jean Carignan Strathspeys on stage for the first time. And play more American interpretations of Bach on this program. We are really looking forward to this and ready to play!
