其实，我本身经历的故事也和这个MTV是蛮相同的。我第一次听见这首歌，是由郭美美唱的。当时的我，心很痛，很沮丧，因为我当时的男朋友正在医院与血癌搏斗。2005年的5月17日，病逝了。我最后一次和他见面时，亲自唱着郭美美的《老鼠爱大米》，把这首歌给录下来，播放我唱的歌给我的男朋友听。虽然，他已经上了天堂，与神同在，但我还是很感激他对我无微不至的照顾与爱护。虽过了十五年，不管有多苦，我还是依然这样想你的。我相信，他若知道我现在嫁给了谁，他应该会很安慰的，因为他也认识这位弟兄。我很感恩，虽然我的朋友已经先离开了，但我们还是会记念着他在主耶稣里所活出的丰盛生命。

When I was younger, I always thought that the "fat" guy gave his eyes to the girl that was blind so she could see again and so he died and gave her a rat to remember him. BUT, now I understand the part where he went to the spot to pray a haha. He prayed for her to heal and in exchange he turned into a rat which she kept by her side. He wanted her to be happy (hence the lyrics) and is happy for her to find a guy and live happily ever after. This MV is sad indeed :(

Not only is this song extremely nostalgic to me (heard it ever since I was a little kid) but in my opinion it has the saddest story of any music video ever :( I swear I cried the first time I watched this. Such a good song though, 10/10
