Coincidentally we're going in November too. You're right about being overwhelmed with the planning. For us organising the accommodation alone is proving to be a nightmare😢🤷♀️
There are so many videos about this topic but the best for me was yours. I managed to get in Super Nintendo World two days ago but a little different. When I reached SNW entrance there was a barrier of staff preventing to enter the area, at that time I opened the app to try to get the Area Timed Tickets and I was lucky to get access for 8 a.m. As a suggestion to those who are watching this video, take advantage of the few people that is inside the park at that time and take photos, go first to Yoshi's Ride, then to the activities that give you a coin to get in Baby Bowser's lair and finally to Mario Kart attraction, this one is always crowded so doesn't matter the time you go. P.S. Next time I go to the park, definitely I will pay for the Express Pass.
@@LetsGoMum I think so, I stayed at Kyoto, so I took a train to Universal City Station at 5:20 a.m. and I was at the entrance gate of the park around 7:00 a.m. on a Monday.
How does it work for the timed entries? Like, I am completely new to this topic, I really want to visit SNW but it sounds a bit complicated. The way I understand it is you need to buy Universal Studio JP entry tickets (obviously), which it seems @LetsGoMum did so physically one day before by going to the Ticket Booths shown at the start of the video outside the gates. Then you speed-walk-jog-pseudo run to SNW and you're golden if that park is not at full capacity OR.... You get stopped by the barrier of staff like it was in your case and need to hop into the app and buy (?) timed entries to come back again and show to staff that are monitoring who goes inside the entry green pipe? Is that it? Also what options are there to buy the USJ tickets? Is there a reason you'd like to have them physically like @LetsGoMum and "waste" a day by going beforehand to the ticket booths? Can't you just purchase online and do what is shown in this video without the need to have any physical ticket?
Universal Studios Japan which we call USJ always opens 60 mins up to 90 mins earlier than official opening hour so many arrive early morning. yes, Ye should go to Mario Kart first otherwise ye will have to queue up for it longer like 90 minutes or longer. My Aussie mate in Brisbane with his own family whose his JP wife and two young daughters came to Osaka,December,2022 . Their two daughters were still young so they avoided rush hour of public transportation in Osaka,Japan so they bought express passes on Klook as well. I wanted to stay in super nintendo world so long so I arrived at 7AM . I had an annual pass so I got out of the park to see them around 10AM around Universal city station then We all entered the park. yes Donkey Kong country will open spring well now spring but not detailed announced yet. My mates and I have been looking forward to it too. cheers
Really cool and helpful video! Are those tickets the normal passes, or did you buy express passes or extras in order to scan them into the timed entry? What I fail to understand is wether or not you can get into the park early and just make a reservation with a normal ticket to get into super mario world, similar to what you can do at diseny parks in orlando. Also, did you go on a week day?
Yes we just had ordinary entrance tickets so not express or early entry tickets. Just the base ticket is all you need, Sam for reserving a timed entry (see my other video here: th-cam.com/video/-WJ9vD4O9B8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HkrRBh8d_mo9_Icu
Thanks for the helpful tip on getting into SNW by going before the timed-entry clock starts. From what I recall you saying, the timed-entry doesn't start until 9:00a.m., correct? I am still contemplating about buying Express tickets for the family since I'm not so keen on getting there by 7:30a.m.
It really depends on your priorities - if your kids are looking forward to Super Nintendo World the most, you can easily blow half the day in there and it's a good time to knock over the two rides with minimal queues - so that's where I would start. Alternatively, secure your timed entry to SNW first thing whilst you are lining up for....I would recommend Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It's a great ride but does have some scary dark moments and it's a flying sensation. If your kids are crazy thrill seekers, head for the Flying Dinosaur coaster. Warning - it's full-on and your first hill is facedown! If they are big on Demon Slayer, consider heading for this VR coaster first - it will end up with the longest line, most likely. Those are my suggestions, but take a look at the ride lists to see what suits your family. This video was super helpful! One question, so I have my Klook 1-Day Studio Pass Voucher, which looks different than the admission tickets you showed in the video, would that work the same in terms of being used with the app to get a timed ticket entry?
Thank you so much for this informative video! I only got the studio pass via Klook so my plan was to head there super early. Can you do timed entry for SNW and Harry Potter on the same day at different times of course? Thank you 😇
Just to confirm; since you were in the park earlier than opening time, do you know if express passes could be applied for the opening time (9am) of the park>
I believe you would be able to, but I would be trying to standby one ride first thing as chances are it will be doable - save your express for a little later. Then you’ll get an extra ride in!
Hi, would like to ask you the video showed time 8.xx entry is no checking on timed entry so i presume u play then went out then enter again with timed entry on 11.50 a.m., am i correct?
I’m grateful that you can buy the power up bands once your inside SNW as I was going to purchase an express pass but they already sold out on the day I’m going (April 7). With the Area timed tickets I registered my pass on the app however it says “my ticket cannot be used, register a valid studio pass”. Does it only allow you to book a time on the day you visit? Legit excited to go😊
You can only book a free timed area pass for Super Nintendo World once you are inside on the day unless you buy one. They became available at 830am the day we were there (official opening time was 9am, gates open around 8am)
