    I like how they switched up the costume. Usually, the Major-General is dressed in a naval uniform like an admiral. But here he's wearing something you might find in the British Army at the turn of the century :)
    Also, excellent work with the song!

    • @graysonbaker1744
      @graysonbaker1744 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@graysonbaker1744 a) That would make no sense, since uniforms are issued by the branch of service, b) That doesn't even make sense from a joke/character perspective, since the song indicates he knows basically everything he needs to know about being a major-general except for leading men into actual battle (i.e. dressing properly would 100% be a thing he knew how to do)

    This is my favorite rendition of this song. Not as fast as George Rose, or as lovingly buffonish as the version in the '85 Stradford Festival, but the fact that I can even understand what the Major General is saying and the humor between him and one of the girls really elevates the performance.

    I am the very model of a scientist Salarian
    I've studies species turian, asari, and batarian
    I'm quite good at genetics as a subset of biology
    Because I am an expert which I know is a tautology.
    In four directions cardinal I know the blot routine-ry
    I problem-solve with tools and guns and even farm machinery.
    I'll sing your genome base to base, the T the A the C and G
    I'll solve your ailments be you sick or stroking out or seizure-y
