    Collingwood (the club) have done a lot of things right over the last couple of years but two that really stand out are the appointment of Graham Wright and the appointment of Craig McRae. Both absolutely outstanding at what they do.

    Mason has stated that the AFL has dropped the ball on promoting our game overseas and that's why Mason has not led to more US players

    • @tommy9951
      @tommy9951 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He should put a pipe in it given that’s the whole reason he was gifted a career here, he IS the marketing/promotion for the US. Skills and footy IQ still aren’t afl standard, and they keep him on so he should shut up and enjoy his diversity hire.

    This Collingwood team is amazing. They’re winning games that even if you look at the stats that suppose to matter (kicks, handballs, possessions contested or not) they’re supposed to be losing. And they’re even not at a hundred percent personnel wise.

    There's simply just no money in AFL compared to basketball in America, why would they give up an NBA dream of making $10m a season for $500k in Australia?
    And even in College Basketball they can make ridiculous money

    • @JEBEDIAH8D
      @JEBEDIAH8D ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not everyone can make the NBA there are thousands of basketballers that are athletically gifted that simply don't make it to the NBA. There are thousands of athletes that just don't make it to the professional level in sport that could given the right opportunity

    • @justinmadden5607
      @justinmadden5607 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because the talent pool is enormous over there and NBA spots are so limited. Mason Cox wasn't even a listed player at OK State, he was an engineering student who was a walk on player who played a few minutes here and there, literally for a free pair of shoes.
