@@gm1799 let me introduce you to pretty much all plants ever😬. They reproduce, it's what they do🤣. A LOT of them you can propagate and others just make their own seeds.
I mostly used this for broken off parts because of some winds -And another tipp for this, you should definitely use a dark vase/container with 20-25°c water The routs will grow even faster within 2-5 days its ready to plant
That is so correctly right those little fuzzy things on the outside of the stems are considered as Roots you can buy one plant and plant more from just one plant
If it’s spring or summer in your area.. you can bypass the rooting part and plop that cutting in a pot of dirt and .. sit outside on the patio.. water it ..and … boom… you got a whole new plant. That’s how I got so many plants and tomatoes this summer..
I find the idea of one tomato plant producing stems instead of actual tomatoes fun. That tomato plant focuses on growing other tomato plants, the stems you cut of are the ones that produces the actual tomatoes. Turn the stems of the other plants into compost instead ig. The original tomato plant's name could be something like "father tomato" or smth.
Just for reference that little stem between the main stem and branch is called a “sucker”. It’s best to cut those so your main stem can grow fruits. And yes you can grow the suckers out to become newer main roots.
