Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. It has the most populous urban area in Sweden as well as in Scandinavia. 1 million people live in the municipality, approximately 1.6 million in the urban area, and 2.4 million in the metropolitan area. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Outside the city to the east, and along the coast, is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the county seat of Stockholm County.

Vallentuna is a nice quiet town. I enjoyed the walk even with it not going the way you wanted. The church is really nice even though it so old. Tack Daniel for a wonderful walk!

I see the weather is getting better😍.I really appreciate how Sweden kept everything in a community together. The accessibility to all…aside from the sushi😁. And never lose the farmstead, forest and cultural heritage particularly the old houses.I think I am an old soul that I can appreciate it all day. Thanks Daniel!🤓

I thought u’d reach there😁, we tried Odenplan and we got a little bit lost but its fine. We just kept saying, oh this is where Daniel passed in that channel😂, is it ok to give to street performers like the old man who played music?
‘Them’ is now in. For us older adults, we still know he or she. I think the younger adults now are so into gender fluidity. We need to read about the meaning of what each rainbow color stands for and the non binary as it becomes a sensitive issue to ‘them’. I myself is a Roman Catholic but a lot of things will have to adapt to keep understanding. I bought rainbow bags from IKEA. Maybe to support the cause.

Vallentuna is perfect for that, you have a straight railway to täby centrum, and that train continues to stockholm east, close to the subway.

Before Espresso House came to Vallentuna Centrum
This reminds me of March/April when all the snow melts and you’re left with an ugly layer of sand, sludge and mud. I live 30 mil north of Stockholm and it’s still winter wonderland here BTW. ☃️

I've just caught up on your last three walks as I've had family visiting and been very busy! Really enjoyed all of the walks but the Vasastan long walk was brilliant. Very relaxing and such a great part of Stockholm - I love the mix of old and new architecture. It's great if you get it right. My city has some areas where the juxtaposition of old and new is very glaring and ugly. I think the planners in Sweden are a little more sympathetic!

Haha this was kinda funny to see, i grew up and live here. Through this looks very sad cause u choose the grayest time ever😅 in the summer the suns always shining the trees explode with green leaves and they plant colourful flowers everywhere. we do use he and her mostly ya but when u get to know someone u often ask their pronouns. The “downtown square” gets fake grass, a big chees board and flowers and benches as well. That ofcourse makes more people walk around and it’s really quite beautiful, this was a very dull day but still a nice vid!

You use the word hen if you don't know if the person is a he or she. Like this: - I had a doctor appointment today. - Oh, you did. What did "hen" say? Because you don't know if the doctor is a he or a she.Very handy word to use then. 🙂🙂
Yes that sounds good. I am not against it or anything. Myself in real life i have never not even once heard someone using it.
