I can't wait for Mountaintop to come back in into the light. I haven't played this game for 5 months, and I imagine I haven't missed much, but that update is looking pretty good from what I've seen so far.
Man I took 8 months off for the first time in my almost 8k hours, and I came back on release of into the light, I can tell you I’ve never felt more refreshed, I needed it for sure
Hey why do you throw your first few nades off of the plate before standing on the plate during the dps phases? And why does leave early (leaving last plate on each floor) help?
I am assuming here, but pre nades because the damage window for each plate only starts when you first get on, and the nades last longer than the damage window, so by waiting to start it you maximize the time where all your nades are ticking on the boss, and I am assuming he pre goes to the next floor to have more time to run for the larger 2nd and 3rd floor rooms. Plus not like he needed the damage anyways.
Correct, dps time starts when stepping on the plate, not when it lights up. By not ever stepping on the 3rd plate it bugs out caretaker, making him teleport to the next floor slower and giving you more time to enter symbols. Timing on 2nd floor is already very tight so this helps a lot. The other way to delay caretaker is to solo stun him after imputing the last symbols but this is much less consistent.
Not shooting random symbols. You need to shoot the 3 that you grab, but if you shoot the 3 correct symbols and a few incorrect ones it will still accept the offering

Not shooting random symbols. You need to shoot the 3 that you grab, but if you shoot the 3 correct symbols and a few incorrect ones it will still accept the offering
