Hi Ustaz, in my country in the all mosques over the "mihrab" this verse from holy Quran is written "Turn your face towards Masjid Al Haram"
I wonder if the preposition "شَطْرَ=Towards" is used in daily Arabic. An ordinary Arab person can understand meaning of this kind of words.
