The door is locked because there's a special event called a "gauntlet" where the game just does a forced eyefestation for 15 seconds closing and locking the front and back doors

That wall dweller plus eyefestation monster combo goes HARD, especially when you are forced to look away from eyefestation, but at the same time you gotta turn back to look at the wall dweller to make it go away Overall, you'd you either lose a good amount of HP, and continue on, or, your entire run goes to SHAMBLES just cause of a stupid wall dweller.
One time i died at room 102 because there was a froger eyefestation combo and i misclicked and went into the trap closet instead of the one that would have made me win the game.

I found a room that was like a maze it had brick walls and like a 90's vibe and there was a black figure staring at me down the hall i eventually died to angler because i couldnt find a locker and my teamates were very far ahead
