i hate to say after detailing this car for many years this video was made to sell the car on ebay and its already sold but god i miss this car it has lots of memories
Great to see such a time-capsule car - the discontinued Imperial rebadged in 1975. I hope that in the passing years you trained in camera control and smooth, slow moves - essential for quality video production.
I owned a '77 New Yorker Brougham in 1988! My ex-wife BEAT it down (took her months at MAXIMUM effort!) My only grip with the '78 was it came with the "400" (PIG on gas, little power) and not the "440"!
Not completely true. I'm a millennial and I happen to own a 76 New Yorker. Just like this one except for the roof. My vinyl roof was removed and resprayed by the previous owner.
Lovely car but when classic ride guy visited one in the junkyard the big disappointment is that the space between the b and c pillars is a plastic insert not even sheet metal.
2 door coupe, don't see many of those, usually just the sedans. Lucky for you that you do not have the sunroof, they leaked like a siev. Hopefully yours didn't have the lean burn system on it. My Mom had a 78 2 door from new that had some major issues.

WOW!!! What a land yacht! Reminds me of my former 1978 Newport!
I love the Newport! Keep it.
Beautiful!!! 🍻👍🏽👊🏽I wish American luxury cars would still be made like this 😢
Wow, just as Jack Jones said.......
What a beautiful New Yorker, it’s the talk of the town......people stop and stare, Chrysler New Yorker is there!
We have a 1977 model that is identical to this one in the Automobile Driving Museum
A friend would call them Giant Mopars!
I learned to parallel park, and took my driving test, in my Mom's 78 New Yorker. She called it The Tank.
I'll never underestimate girth for as long as I'm standing here!!

You have an absolute beauty there.
One word WOW, awesome car
In 1977 my father had same car. Only difference was ours had the red dashboard with red rug. I miss that car.
