Lol you have no idea, I swear I’m cursed when it comes to recording Zelda. The footage for Hyrule warriors messed up so many times it took me 3-4 full playthroughs before it didn’t mess up and then I recorded breath of the wild a month or two ago and for some reason an hour of it didn’t record. Only games I’ve ever ran into recording trouble with
i havent played this game since it came out on the wiiU, i dont remember being able to swap between heroes mid combat. is that a new thing definitive added?

Yep, it was originally in the 3DS version but later added to the Switch version as well.
