Having been on a DMP for a number of years and i am now able to afford much higher payments, by DMP
will complete in 4 years provided i can keep up the payments.
I am too old to be taking out a mortgage, and having learned the hard way, i will never have another credit card
    or loan.
One point to consider regarding a DRO is that due to the impact on your credit score, if you are renting a property
and have to move, you will struggle to find a new property unless you can offer say 6 months rent in advance
and since you are in debt this won't be an option, and will be an issue for 6 years after the DRO completes.
