  • A look around Glasgow Central railway station on the morning of Wednesday 30th August 2023.
    Central is one of the two main terminal station in Glasgow and is the northern terminus of the west coast main line from London Euston. Long distance services are provided by Avanti West Coast Trains to London Euston and also Birmingham New Street using class 390 'Pendolino' or class 221 'Super Voyager' tilting trains. Services to Manchester Airport are provided by Transpennine Express. First Scotrail provides an intensive service of stopping trains to the southern suburbs of Glasgow, the Ayrshire coast and further afield including Cathcart, Neilston, East Kilbride, Barrhead, Paisley, Whifflet, Ayr, Largs, Kilmarnock, Ardrossan, Wemyss Bay, Gourock, Irvine, Edinburgh, Kilmarnock, Dumfries, Carlisle and Newcastle.
    The station also has a low level underground section on the 'Argyle Line' which consists of an island platform serving trains to destinations west including Dalmuir, Milngavie and Partick whilst eastbound trains serve destinations including Motherwell, Lanark, Bellshill and Larkhall.

    man, I wish I want to go back to scotrail trains again
    I'm from scotland of course, I always remembered so much
    though I also watch trains pass by in ARC in Kirkconnel, only in Arts and Crafts room
