I am so sorry. My boys, my Lab and Yorkie, have been gone for a few years. I miss my Lab's velvet ears, his goofy personality, his way of laying on our feet when someone would stand still for a few minutes in the house. I miss how my Yorkie acted like my Lab's big brother and would commiserate with my Lab's barking by whining/crying. I will miss them all the days of my life and would like nothing more for them to be together on the other side and to be with them when it's my time. To paraphrase something I've read before, when it's my time, I want to go where dogs go (where all animals go). Hoping so much that the memories will help with your broken heart.
