Ali & Spencer were written & casted perfectly for the show. Visually they’re complete opposites, Ali literally has the definition of soft features while Spencer has sharp & defined features. Ali has blonde hair, Spencer has dark hair, etc. They’re both very strong willed characters but almost always have completely different ways of viewing things & handling situations. Spencer is intelligent yet impulsive, while Ali is intelligent and calculated. On top of all that they’re also sort of in the same family tree. Such a twisted and winded friendship. It’s so fun to watch them on screen together.

Imagine Alison/Spencer introducing one of them to someone and them saying, “This is Ali/Spencer my cousin/half sister/ bff. Don’t ask it’s a LONG story.” Like that’s pretty fucking awkward 😂 but I love there relationship 😉
