@@prajnachan333 I started reading Osho’s books in 1974-75. I made it to his Ashram in Poona finally in 1979 and stayed for 5 months. I was also at his Commune often in Oregon since I lived about a day’s drive away. I was at his Commune when he began speaking again after being in silence for a few years. I noticed it immediately, that he’d really slowed down. He just wasn’t as sharp as before. It was as if he was speaking in slow motion. I prefer his older discourses from that earlier time in the 1970’s.

@@jmseipp he purposely slowed down he talks about it. He saw wisely that much of what he said was going over peoples heads. One has to digest these words if one does not have a proper foundation. He also explains the silence between words is the point and that the silence itself is more profound . It seems that spending a couple of years in silence is a great teacher.

When young I considered Osho as blasphemy but now after matured studies I feel he was way ahead of his times. A legendary philosopher guru par excellence.
that's how it is. He speaks the crux of all the Indian, Buddhist and major scriptures. The most important parts and the only ones worth knowing. And yet these religions themselves despise him because they have missed the mark. By the way the word sin originally meant exactly that - missing the mark, missing the point

Osho books are incredibly filled with timeless knowledge about life and literally on one page you have 10 valuable unique insights. When I was reading Osho books I was feeling like I should stop every page to contemplate what I ve read. Osho was absolutely genius and his perception of reality and insights are gold.

I'm most positively stuck in my mind (well mostly) but I also have no particular desires or wants, not for material things, wealth or hierarchical or societal status or praise. I just want to be at peace with what already is, whatever it is.

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 6 months ago about self development. Now I have 483 subs and > 100 hours of watch time. People listen to the money and sex so he choose both and one hand he has all the luxury and other hand he exposes the dark reality of sex and its transcendence. I recently saw a video that covered Osho's life and teacing. He would quote him and say something positive, then in the next breath say something so ugly and unfounded.
Its been amazing all these years with Osho, it seems the majority of people who have critized him negatively never even read part at least of a book or watched a video; turn off their brain for 2 seconds and see what an incredible, extraordinary master Osho was, and is!

Those who criticise him comment from a space of toxicity caused by that horseshit of a propaganda American documentary called wild wild country but only those who've heard his discourses (mainly the Pune ones_1964-1980) on the Vedas, Gita, Krishna, Lao Tzu, Socrates, Kabir, Neitzsche, Tagore etc or read atleast one of his books know that he's hands down the greatest master we've had in ages.
