Can you make a demonstration about the ”sendemail” command? Is it used to overwrite the default sender when we create an alert?

Yes I will be covering all the splunk commands one by one. Regarding your second question yes you can use sendmail command in alert query as well if you need to change the sender but keep in mind that alert action also if you choose send mail you will receive multiple email.

@@splunk_ml For some reason, it is not working for me, even I followed the tutorial from Splunk documentation. I always get 'rootCAPath', do you have any idea about this error?
