@christiane.montanez3885 that's for two reasons, one, you need to be equipped with the correct escape moves. The ones from the players he mentioned are some of the ones that have it. 2, you need to hold the left stick up after you start the move. If you already holding the left stick up before, you'll just be spamming a double cross while moving forward

Everybody crowded around the TV. What’s the first thing that happens before anyone even plays a game? Rules. Certain teams get banned (2017 Warriors for example), off ball defense is banned, and any goofy spammy tricks are usually a part of the ban list as well. Why? Because shit like that is cheap and annoying as hell and everybody knows it. “It’s in the game”. I don’t care. Hell, even Esports leagues try their best to remove all the goofy cheese elements of a game when pros are competing. You think that’s for no reason?
