I love the fact that she put importance of wanting the observer, watching a performance, to fall in love with the dance. She said it might be their only chance to see a ballet live. A very beautiful statement and very unselfish!! She is a incredible and beautiful ballerina!
I still remember the awe I felt when I watched her in that Gronemeyer music video over a decade ago. Thank you for doing this interview!!! I especially like hearing about the teaching aspects of dance: whether it is how they interacted with their teachers or approach teaching other dancers. Super interesting
Great guest, great host. Two inspiring women. I love the warmth, respect, integrity you embody conducting these interviews and your insightful and interesting questions. My only slight disappointment is I hoped I might get to hear a little of your Russian 😄
I would love to know how her brother got on with his talent. I’ve always loved Meredith Daneman’s book A Chance to Sit Down which covers the life of a dancer before, during & after having a baby girl. It’s a little spicy at times, beautifully & cleverly written ❤
Absolutely delightful interview Isabelle. She seems like a lovely young woman and mother. I’m not being nosy and please don’t answer if it’s private , but did you know and meet her personally? There just seemed to be such an amiability between you Thank you 🩰🩰🩰🩰🙏🙏👵🇦🇺
