- In this video, I show how I made a set of lock pick tools using Street Sweeper bristles which I found along the curb. I create a "wave" or "S" pick and a tensioner. The lock shown is a personally owned medium security padlock. Remember to always stay Legal.

Masterlocks are some of the easiest locks to pick, most beginners start off with them.

Putting the bend in the tension bar is for your finger's comfort when pressing on it, instead of pressing on the metals edge.
The pick you made is a "diamond" pick, as opposed to the usual multi groove "rakes".

OMG, that blade so close to those veins... I've made a couple of picks myself but never made the handle, thanks for the tip
this is a great recycling tip for waste metals
Made a pick the other day and I used a 6mm copper brake line that I hammered flat and it became a very good handle the pick ain't going nowhere rock solid construction.
Pulling a utility knife toward your WRIST is a majorly ill-advised technique.

Dude, you made that look so easy. I've gotten decent at Hook and diamond picks but I just can't get the hang of making rakes.
They make clear shrink tube as well so you can show off the gorgeous, unappreciated popsicle wood grain!
But seriously, they're not the best but I love making and modding and have respect for everyone else that does too.

Medium security lock where? All I seen was a low security Master lock.

that's a pretty standard medium security lock, they're used everywhere

Same here, but apparently one of the better materials is windshield wiper metal too.
I'm getting some professionally made lock picks for cheap, but I would probably go make my own.
BrianTheMagicGuy use the stainless steel piece sandwiched between the rubber in a windshield wiper blade. I collect them from the dumpster at mechanics places because they come in many different sizes summer thicker summer wider and yeah that's what you want you don't want the real thin narrow ones.

One time I picked a lock with a coffee straw.. But nice video it is way better than I could do I am a noob at lock picking!

Street cleaner brushes? Someone has been reading a very old book. I think I read that one from Paladin Press about 35 years ago.
Those street cleaners are very much in use in shopping strip parking lots.

Lock picking really saved my life I was outside my house and my parents are not in home and I forgot my keys and closed the door hopefully I was having a sesor and and a little iron baget I've made it the last month and I was able to unlock the door itcost me only 2min

You know how those type of drawrs that has locks on it and has a skinny opening to see what holds back the drawr from opening when it's locked yea, if you know what your doing use that sheer force brother and then fixed it up like it never happened. (To be clear it was my drawr,my dumb ass lost both keys to unlock that shit that came with it....
