I think also we are in the conditions we are in we should address some of the stresses and trauma some of us carry that leads us to indulge in these escapisms. We hide some pain but we are bleeding out regardless and we try to numb the pain. If we are more open about why we think we do some things it'll not only open eyes, it'll help the sufferer and should create more understanding about real life. I used to be addicted to opiates. It makes you itch when you high because it’s a histamine.. and I’ve met other dudes (mostly black dudes who don’t really know about addiction or withdrawals) who was just popping pills or sipping lean and went to the hospital over withdrawals. lol they had NO IDEA. So they all stopped after that. There was the very very select few that transitioned to pills and dope tho. But damn never knew bow wow went through it like that.
