Respectfully, resellers drive people to rep sneakers. They buy out stock, run bot armies to monopolize drops, and basically make it impossible for regular people to buy hype sneakers at retail. Want rep sneakers to go away? Resellers need to change their toxic business habits.
@raindev88Yup. Are all resellers toxic? Of course not. But enough are that it's plainly obvious the average consumer has little chance to get hype releases or restocks at retail. Resellers need to police their own. Otherwise, I'm completely fine buying reps. If I buy resale, the money isn't going to Adidas or Nike anyway.
Resellers are basically killing the sneaker community. Pitching in the "rarity" and "value" just builds up the hype and their pockets. I'd rather buy it from the store or brand it self. That way you're 100% sure it's legit... pag reseller, paano ka nakakasiguro na legit pair nga yan? (not unless you have an actual legit pair to compare it to)
If you walk in public, nobody will ever know if you are wearing original or fake. Nobody cares what you wear. If you are poor, you buy fake. If you are rich, you buy original. Fake products will not go away because these are the only products that ordinary people can afford. You're saying that there are stores that sell originals much cheaper, do you think the ordinary Pinoy will search for these kind of stores? They will just buy whatever they see in the bangketas, in popular fake stores and places like Greenhills, Cartimar, Baclaran, Divisoria. China is the biggest manufacturer of original and counterfeit products. So there you go.🙄
While I agree on your last sentence, originals would feel way better and last longer in the long run compared to fakes, I've worn fake basketball and comfort shoes btw. While fakes can be barely noticeable on feet, the materials and cushion deteriorate way faster, which could end up costing you more on the long run since you have to buy a new pair sooner. While there are high quality fakes (often refered as rejects from the same factory) , The price is almost the same compared to the original. Another problem are the people buying fakes just to get on the hype trend, an example are fake yeezy's, An original yeezy would feel great on feet, but the fake one's would feel like bricks after a few minutes walking inside a mall. Since the original uppers are made of fabric, The fake one's would feel like wearing a tshirt on your feet. So what's the point of buying a fake if you can't walk properly and be comfortable? There are ways to get cheaper/below market price original shoes (unless It's a limited sneaker release), Just be patient on waiting for markdown prices on malls or go to factory outlets, A fake lebron shoe today would cost you 2000-2500 php, while buying a nike general release basketball shoe from a factory outlet would be 3000 (sometimes even less). You can find that owning an original (with proper care) will stay comfortable and prestine after 4+ years of wearing.
hi! i have fake and real yeezys and jordan 1's,, they are the same in terms of comfort 😂 you really need to try them out to understand that fakes have come a long way. I'm not talking about those Greenhills 2500 pairs, the best fakes are around 3.5-5k.
@@BadgerMole-c1h as i've said, 5k for a pair of good fakes is still not the real one and have a lot of differences, since you can get a yeezy that is used once worth 6k now, just know where to look, And you can get an original jordan 1 high brandnew in consignment stores worth 4k, if you're finding a specific colorway it would be a different story but those highprice colorways are often hyped so I don't get the point of buying a fake of that colorway but don't get the same shape, materials, authenticity. you do know that even good fake jordan 1 have trash oursoles that are flimsy, even the one's on your price range, the LK, FJH, etc. I know those kind of names cause I had one before and the materails are way too stiff
yung iba kaya bumibili ng fake for practicality na rin siguro, bakit ka naman bibili ng sapatos na worth 20k+ kung meron namang fake na below 4-5k and close to orig na ang quality.

Ok naman bumili and magsuot ng fake. Depende na lang talaga sa nag susuot. Usually ang binibili nila na fake eh yung mga hype pairs na mahal talaga and siguro gusto nila or dream nila na pair yun. Buying an authentic pair or fake is more on preference IMO. Me personally would rather buy a non hype authentic sneaker rather than a fake because of the price na din ngayon ng fake. makakabili ka na ng original na authentic sa price ng mga fake ngayon
Ethical Concerns: Counterfeit goods can contribute to illegal activities and support unethical practices. Buying from unauthorized sources can indirectly fund these issues. Impact on Brands: Counterfeiting hurts the original brands by impacting their revenue and damaging their reputation. This can affect their ability to innovate and provide quality products.
