This is a fine tutorial. Most enjoyable without extra fluff. One comment however, in Hollywood Orchestra Opus there are Chamber presets. It would be interesting to compare those Chamber presets and Hollywood Strings 2 side by side.

Thank you for watching and the suggestion. I only see the Symphonic Orchestra Chamber Ensemble patch, though. the HO Ensemble patches are full size sections or divisi.

Nice review - thanks! It actually took me about 12 hours to fully download 😞I also have the Composer Cloud subscription, only one I actually have. I think this is a good library and it probably justifies the subscription along with the larger orchestra and possibly the 'Fantasy' orchestra (if you're into that sort of thing). As a stand alone to purchase at that price point, I think it's probably pretty good value for a main chamber sized option?

12 hrs is long ! Glad you finally got it. I think with special sales around Thanksgiving/Holiday season, the price will come down eventually. If the Spitfire Chamber goes down to half price I would get that one first, just many more articulations I think.

yeah.. this goes way back to the Diamond Edition when people were debating if it's worth the upgrade from Gold. It's adds a slight bump ( attack is the wrong word) on a note change. As a string player we can play very smooth and tight bow changes which will sound legato, but not the same like a slurred bow. It's usually a combination of both when playing live.
