My perfect boot: a Mizuno Wave Cup Legend, in Mizuno classic corporate colours (yes red bladed studs too) and short tongue (Hulk had short tongue version at some-point in time, in yellow. This was before switching to Neo’s)

My perfect Frankenstein boot would be a tekela v4 that use grip knit that have a furon lacing system but mizuno alpha soleplate. Large striking surface, grip , padding and preset sure it is light but SnapBack but cushions on the heel

Hey, I was wondering if you could do a review in the apex grip socks?
I've actually spoken to the guys at Apex so I'll be doing the review at some point, I haven't tried them yet though.
My hot take is that Adidas should probably drop the copa series (not the mundial). And instead do a tech pack series like what Nike did previously, seeing as to how the fusion skin applies itself so easily to synthetic uppers.
Saves them the headache of trying to iterate a boot they clearly have 0 idea for anyway and keeps it fresh for consumers.
Absolutely not using this so they we get more leather preds 👀

I wouldn't call an obsession, I personally prefer leather just because I haven't personally found any synthetic boots that I'd prefer over a leather. But there are great synthetic boots, for sure. and there are ethical concerns for sure. Also, I do test synthetic boots as well, but my preference is leather.
