Watch this video and water came to my eyes. Remember when my grandmother use to bake all these things for us back in the 1960s when we were kids. How I miss Jamaica and what it use to be.

I remember too. My grandmother was a great baker with minimal ingredients. She never measured but everything she cooked was excellent. She died 48 years ago.

I added a twist to this and it's the BOMB! Instead of 3 cups milk, I used 2 plus 1 can cream style corn, vanilla & almond water. Then I leave it to boil on the stove to create a " turn cornmeal" WOW! Thanks a lot.

Budget Friendly Creations the best I tasted in my life was one that the girl told me she “turned it” before she baked it. The texture and flavor was awesome.

This is basically the same way we make our Coo-Coo in T&T except no sweetening it, no baking, and okro instead of raisins. But how you all make it here looks REAL GOOD so I will try it soon. Thanks Aunty Mazie & Grace Foods. Islands Unite.

Very necessary in my humble view. The coconut milk is part of the authentic Jamaican flavor. The pudding is not the same without it.
