This was the piece that really cemented my love for the oboe. I’d already been playing oboe for a year or two when I heard it on the radio and committed to learning it. Gorgeous.
Wolfgang did a masterful job of composing this with the oboe melody and the violin counter-melody!
Juliana Koch has such a sweet, delicate clear sound. Simply beautiful and masterful.

I don't think so. That tempo can still be played quite comfortably using single tonguing.

She sounds great if you don’t watch her, or prepare to get dizzy with motion sickness..., to some that much effing moving around is narcissistic and annoying.
@@yosserc The principle oboist always needs a hint of narcissism, as with every musician that plays in a symphony.... When we tune everybody needs to shut up and listen :-) And why else would it be that the oboist is murdered first(or the flutist cannibalized) and besides… Somebody has to upstage the percussion section. :-) I don’t another fun note… Research transcriptions of a famous recording of the Mozart Quartet in F with oboe and pipe organ.
