cesarmanuel51 Unfortunately it didn't. There's a commercial for this set on TH-cam and the end shot shows everything you get. Golden Tickets were nowhere to be found.

The cereal mascots are there because Quaker Oats financed the film's budget and wanted to enter the candy market but ironically the bars were recalled due to factory problems and never ended up being sold

yea pretty much, so most people just buy the white chocolate wafers and add gel food coloring (not the liquid, im told the liquid will change the candies consistency though idk how true that is) as well as add flavoring to them.
YukiKira water based will turn it gloopy. Gel won't. Can u use candy melts?
Yes that is what the chocolate wafers are lol sorry they have 2 names, wafers in some countries and choco melts in others. The liquid wont turn it gloopy but it will take almost have of the liquid coloring to even get remotely close to a dark color.

I always found it funny how Wonka is the one brand I can't think of any chocolate candies from yet the entire movie was centered around a chocolate factory.
Most of the Wonka sweets are holdovers from when Sunmark, a smaller confectioner, owned the name. Chocolate seems to be fairly expensive, with Hershey, Mars, and Nestle holding the lion's share of the market.
@@nicholastosoni707 Nestle eww. If they Used Hershey's chocolate the Butterfinger would be the number one best bar in the entire world end of story because it already is. I've always wanted to dip a chicken stick which is similar to me in Hershey chocolate but I've never gotten around to it.

I recently learned that circa 1971 Quaker Oats company owned the Wonka name and brand(Oompas and Skrunch candies), hence why we have King Vitamin, Capn Crunch, and Quisp molds, their brand of cereal.

Hey I'm 25 (just to give a timeframe) and I used to eat king vitamin as a kid it was one of my favorite cereals. I would have done him yellow because the box was always a yellow color from what I remember. Love your videos, you have a soothing voice so I usually watch when my insomnia acts up. 🙂
Captain Crunch isnt even a captain, he has 3 stripes on his jacket which makes him a commander, captains have 4 stripes.

It's rather impressive how accurate the design on the wrappers is, considering how inaccurate movie merch could be back in the early days.
The wrapper for the regular Wonka bar looks *_just like_* the one used in the movie.
