My mom went into the palliative care until of the hospital, they were great, sadly mom died 2 days later. They were great with mom and with me also. I would recommend palliative care to anyone needing it.
She is a beautiful, highly intelligent woman, she was not mean or snobbish at all, she just knows what she wants and doesn't want and she's speaking from experience don't forget!
Enlightening and moving. So glad Liz shared her story and I admire her strength and determination to find her own way to walk her final path. Those that work in palliative care really do make a difference for people facing life's most difficult challenge and I'm glad Liz found a team she trusted.
Liz - you are an absolute INSPIRATION! Thank you for this, your honesty, insightfulness and clear explanation of Palliative Care. This is absolutely precious informant.Thank you so much for sharing.Sending powerfully gentle healing vibes!Peace, light;)x
Bloody hell she is very demanding, i had bowl cancer and i was so grateful for the care i got from my oncologist and my consultant and the nurses , people like her annoy me , now 5 years on am still here and am greatful for that although my Bowles will never be the same but am coping .
I see the importance of watching how you word things now slowly and watch to see if they understand it fully. I know at times are do say things abruptly, which I can't do in this field. I was in collections of money for many many years.
The surgeon could have made more money operating Liz....If he thought she only had 2 months to live, I think he was being honest and trying 2 avoid her having 2 go through more unnec pain....
